Young Adult Centre: 'YAC Program'
Gravenhurst Against Poverty is developing a Young Adult Centre in downtown Gravenhurst that looks to serve young people in the community ages 12-29.
Beginning in April 2021, G.A.P. launched monthly YAC Hangouts took place virtually over ZOOM between April 2021 and February 2022. In April of 2022, G.A.P. hosted the very first in-person YAC Hangout - a bagel-making activity at the G.A.P. Kitchen at Trinity United Church.
- NEW - February 2023: Starting Friday, February 3rd, the YAC program is evolving from monthly hangouts to a weekly drop-in. Youth ages 12-18 are invited to join us at Trinity United Church in downtown Gravenhurst Friday nights from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Participation is completely free and will include games, crafts, socializing and snacks!

YAC Drop-Ins for March 2023
The YAC program now meets every Friday night from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the basement at Trinity United Church. Participation is open to youth ages 12-18, is completely free and will include games, crafts, socializing and snacks.
