Food insecurity is on the rise: According to the Nutritious Food Basket survey, food insecurity affected 1 in 6 households in 2022. By 2023, this number had surged to 1 in 3 households.

Make an Interac e-Transfer: One time or More Often

You may donate to G.A.P. via your bank using an Interact e-Transfer. This may be for a one-time donation or for recurring donations (should your bank offer this service). Each bank will have its rules about e-Transfer options available to you. The choice is yours.

Please use this email address: accounting@gravenhurstagainstpoverty.com for your Interac e-Transfers. This account is setup to automatically receive funds, so there is no need for a security question. If this is your first donation to G.A.P. by e-Transfer, please include your first and last name, email address and mailing address in the message so that we can issue you a tax receipt. Receipts are issued by email within 2 weeks of donations being received.

Submit the Form: Complete the form and provide it to your broker or financial advisor to initiate the transfer.
Notify G.A.P.: Send a copy of the completed form to finance@gravenhurstagainstpoverty.com to ensure the timely processing of your gift and prompt issuance of your tax receipt.
