YAC (Young Adult Centre)
In April 2021, G.A.P. launched monthly YAC Hangouts that took place virtually over ZOOM. By April 2022, G.A.P. hosted the very first in-person YAC Hangout - a bagel-making activity at the G.A.P. Kitchen at Trinity United Church.
Since 2023, the YAC program has evolved into a weekly drop-in. Youth, aged 12-18 are invited to join us at G.A.P. (in the basement of Trinity United Church) in downtown Gravenhurst. Participation is completely free and includes games, crafts, socializing and snacks! YAC Hangouts for September 2023
As we enter Fall of 2023, the YAC program will now meet every other week on Friday nights from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the YAC Room (basement at Trinity United Church). Participation is open to youth ages 12-18, is completely free and includes games, crafts, socializing and snacks.
Friday, September 8th: Bucket List (Drop-In)
Write out a list of goals, activities, and wishes you want or have for the fall and winter season and drop them into your own bucket that you’ll decorate with materials provided by YAC.
Friday, September 22nd: Cake Baking & Decorating Competition (Drop-In)
Let’s take baking to a new level and compete in teams to see who can make the best (and tastiest) work of yummy icing art.
